The Russian Professor who successfully predicted the fall of the Soviet Union, predicted in 2000 that the United States would cease to exist or be involved in its own civil war by 2010. Here is how he predicts our nation will break up.

First of all, to believe that not one of those splits would result in still being the U.S. in a smaller form is complete ignorance. Russia may have lost some pieces, but the country didn't cease to exist and is almost back to what it once was. If this really happened, there is no doubt that the Texas Republic would be the most likely to retain itself as a power throughout the world. I'd hope Missouri snuck into that group some how.

The really interesting part, is that I believe the E.U. will eventually change it's name as the Euro gains strength and that Canada will eventually join, followed by an Obama-led U.S. Just a hunch.

The Orlando Sentinel ran a story on the reporter, Barbara West, who did the Biden interview I posted a few days ago. The TV station says they received 10,000 e-mails regarding it. I'm really bothered that chaplains are told they cannot pray in the name of Jesus. As a Christian, I believe that Jesus is the only reason my prayers are heard. It's not based on my words or my eloquence, but based on His power and His blood that have forgiven me. A prayer without the name of Jesus is just words. Don't we already have enough powerless prayer in our world? I say kuddos to those men who gave up their jobs and salaries to stand for what they believe in. Removing Jesus' name is not a denominational issue. It's another attempt to silence Christianity. The governor didn't mention anything about prayers to Allah or Vishnu. Only the Father. It's pretty clear which faith in America lacks freedom.

This video made me sick. The Obama campaign has requested law enforcement be involved in "untruthful" campaign ads against him in Missouri by joining the Barack Obama Truth Squad. The crazy thing is that police departments and district attorneys have pledged to do it. Why doesn't Barack just mail them duct tape for those evildoers. One prosecutor in the video says that if they see something untrue, they're gonna step in and correct the record. I didn't think our society believed in absolute truth? I can't tell you how disappointed I have been with the thought of a bailout for the corrupt and irresponsible system of lending in our country. Why do companies get bailed out of moronic lending practices, while I have to watch every penny as I pay for rent, gas, and food? I despised the idea of a bailout, and felt our President had made an error to so quickly get behind it.

But then I listened to the man. The line I pulled from his speech above was what I needed to hear. I needed a reason that a man who claims to be for captialism and free enterprise would allow for the government to grab more reign of our banking system. He said that he didn't want the actions of these few irresponsible lenders to undercut our financial security as a nation. This wasn't a problem that happened on Bush's watch. Beginning with the Carter Administration, there has been more and more of a push to provide the American Dream to more citizens. The problem is, not everyone is in a position to afford that dream yet. We need to make sure that in the future, when credit is extended to people, that we ask reasonable questions like: What do you do for a living? Can you prove U.S. citizenship?, and a few other common sense qualifiers and then verify their information!

The government can recoup some of its bailout over time as many of these loans will not default and people will do the responsible thing...pay their bills! Let's just hope that the majority choose the high road.

Do you see a problem with this picture? My former high school has lost their minds, and allowed a "same-sex couple" to pair together for homecoming this year. This picture speaks a thousand words. Confusion comes when things aren't normal. I'm confused when McDonalds changes the numbers on the value meals. Why? Because I know what a #1 is supposed to be. This picture shows the escort smartly pointing to the OTHER girl as the queen. Well thanks for clearing that up. The sad part of the picture, is the clueless girl clapping next to them. Why is she clapping? Because Hickman High School has conditioned her to believe that everyone can live the way they want, and we should applaud each and every choice (unless you're a Jonas Brother and you have the crazy idea that you shouldn't have sex until you're married).
